This event aims to present the third model of Organic Fertilizer Biofactories, developed with the highest technology and designed to face future food and rural crises, improving the economy of farmers who suffer due to the high costs of agrochemicals, providing them with access to high quality fertilizers at low costs, allowing them to reduce the cost of production and improve the yield and quality of their crops.
This Biofactory project was awarded by PLACA (Platform for Climate Action in Agriculture in Latin America and the Caribbean) of FAO as the winner of first place in the Regional Competition for Low-Cost Technological Innovations in 2023.
This new model includes advanced technology, digitalized systems to facilitate fertilizer processing, degassing valves to improve fermentation and new technological packages to provide high-quality organic fertilizers.
The presentation of the 3.0 model of biofactories to address the rural crisis in the world is part of the International Day of Food Sovereignty
